A Portrait
Here it is, January 25th -- 5 days since my last post. Wow!, time flies! I guess I'm not doing so well on this photo-a-day thing. But, I'll keep trying.
On a positive note (because this is a positive blog), I have been excercising regularly. So, that's one of my New Year's goals that's going pretty well. I got Wii Fit for Christmas. I'm impressed with it. It really makes me want to exercise (play). I can break a sweat without even realizing it. It's a pretty neat invention.

Praying Hands - Jan. 20th
Here's my photo for January 20th. Yestarday turned out to be a good day at work. I had a photo shoot for a publication put out by the organization I work for. We spent a good share of the afternoon snapping photos. It was great. I was in my element. I actually left work energized! One of the photos I took was of Praying Hands. Hope you have a great day!!!

Procrastination???
Well, so much for the "365 Project". I missed a couple days of photos, already. But, its not procrastination this time. I've been sick with a cold that just won't go away. I won't go into detail and gross you out. I was pretty much bed ridden yestarday. I suffer from a chronic autoimmune disease and have a suppressed immune system. So, the common cold can totally wipe me out. But, I think the sleep did me good. I'm up-and-at-um today! I'll try and do two picks today - to make up for time off.

Breakfast at Tiffany's
On my way in to work this morning, "Breakfast at Tiffany's" came on the radio. I haven't heard that song in a really long time. I was instantly brought back to my Freshman year of college.
I was a diver on the SCSU swim team. We had early morning practice 3 times a week. Hearing this song, brought back the memory of riding to practice in the morning. Sarah was kind enough to do the driving. Marie, Ryan and myself would all squish into Sarah's little pale-yellow, single-cab pickup. It always meant sitting on laps. Some mornings were so cold, that the windshield wouldn't defrost. We'd actually scrape the frost from the inside windshield - just to see enough to make it to Hallenbeck Hall. We'd laugh and belt out tunes on the radio. "Breakfast at Tiffany's" was one we sang the loudest.
Those were the days!
Its great to start the morning daydreaming about the good ol' days!!

Beautiful Eyes
Well, today is January 10th, so I missed a day already. I took this picture yestarday, and retouched it today. I came across a new skin smoothing technique and wanted to try it out. It works great! I had been wondering how some people's portraits look so great -- now I know how to smooth skin!
We traveled alot over the holidays, so this was a great weekend at home. Hope your's was great too!

Christmas Season
My intention was to start this Project 365 (photo-a-day) blog on January 1st. But, here is my first photo on January 8th! Stop Procrastinating was one of my resolutions this year. Oops! I guess I botched that one already.
I picked up mu camera this morning, and an hour flew by. Once I start taking pictures, it is very easy to loose complete track of time. I figured the Christmas Tree would be the easiest subject to start with. Here's one of the shots I got this morning.
My plan for the rest of the day: get started on some of my New Year's Resolution. I received a Wii Fit for Christmas, and today, I'm finally going to set it up. And no, this one wasn't due to procrastination. I've been sick all week. Excuses, excuses, excuses.
Anyway, hope you have a great day!
I know I'll strive for one.

Icicles
This is a test picture, to see how big of pics I can put on this blog. Back in November, my husband and I went exploring. We found a really cool railroad tunnel and many photo ops. It was a perfect day!
